I had wished to visit Musee d'Orsay for some reasons. Even a person irrelevant to art knew this museum is the treasure trove of the impressionists.
Our tour visited the atelier of Cezanne in Aix-en-Provence several days ago, then my desire to visit Musee d'Orsay got much stronger.

Our couple made use of the free time and looked around here for 3 hours and a half in the afternoon. I appreciated that Emiko was more positive.
We left the museum after 5:00 pm being still attached.

Aside from literature, I have lately begun interested in the composers before and after impressionism in France.
I have been trying to listen to Franck, Faure, Debussy, Satie and Ravel, not to mention Berlioz, Saint-saens and Bizet. Difficulty to approach has been quite milder.

Since I believe music and art are inseparable, isn't it natural for me also to be interested in the art before and after impressionism? So now, I am at Orsay Museum.

A lot of works of the well-known artists and sculptors were freely displayed. Our couple looked around from the top (5th) floor to the 1st floor without stopping too long at each works, following Emiko's pace.
I bought several documents here. They will help me while writing a travelogue after returning home.

In front of Rodin's famous "Gate of Hell", there were several sculptures by Camille Claudel including "The Mature Age" (the picture below).
