Sunday, November 25
Nice is the mecca of Cote d'Azur (Deep-Blue Seashore) around the south of France.

Autumn with the sky clear and blue, and horses growing stout. It is really an ideal autumn day.
We left the hotel at 8:00 and drove straight to the pebble beach.
The west side along the coast is Promenade des Anglais (Promenade of the English), which has been a gorgeous meeting place since 19th century. The symbol is the famous Hotel Negresco, built in 1912. It passed by over the bus window.
More than that, from the beach over to the horizon, the sea surface was brilliant, changing from light blue to navy blue. Nice was like in early summer.
An old man in swimming pants was waving his hands in the shallows.

Promenade des Anglais

What a nice pebble beach!

I failed in photographing!
There have been many such failures during the trip.
It's a penalty for not studying a new digital camera.
Walked to Cours Saleya (Saleya Square) in Old City and looked around the flower market. Each stalls are full of flowers, fruits and vegetables like painted by primary colors of crayons.
We walked around along the stalls for one hour. I bought 3 pieces of kaki and a handful of dried figs. Kaki is much more tasteful than expected. Its scientific name is Diospyros Kaki for confirmation.
The figs were going to be snacks for my nightcap for a couple of days.

I found a hat shop near our assembly place. Under the attendant's advice, I bought a nice flat cap by a clerk's flattery.
