The sightseeing bus played a big role in this tour from Milan, Italy, until
Paris, the ending point, running for about 3,000 km.
The next morning of our arrival at Milan, we left the hotel and drove on
this bus for 310 km to the west.
The Mediterranean Sea appeared around Sanremo, at the country border with France to the west.
Lunch was spaghetti at a restaurant along the seacoast of Monaco.
The rain from the previous night is all over and patches of blue sky can
be seen. The temperature is 15 degrees with no wind. Naturally not cold.
We had a sightseeing around Monaco Prince's Palace, especially Cathedrale
de Monaco and the seashore.
The seashore of about 80 km from here west to Cannes is called Cote d'Azur
or Riviera in Italy. The seashore of light blue, I see.

Eze is the name new to me. It seems that the village was developed in the
medieval era on the precipitous cliff facing the Mediterranean utilizing
the landform in order to keep out enemies.
It is called "the village of eagle's nest", as one of the villages peculiar to Cote d'Azur area. Stone houses are lined along the steep stone steps and the narrow mazes.
The rain lasted for several days floods the road, and the light rain is
now still falling. I was about to step on the stone steps a couple of times.
Alfred Hitchcock took an important part of the movie "To Catch a Thief"
here. Monaco was its main stage, not to mention.
The first encounter of Ranier 3 de Monaco, then a prince, with Grace Kelly,
a famous actress, was here at Eze Village while filming this movie!
