I visited this Chateau de Versailles once 30 years ago attending the executive of Daido Steel. I worked for this company for 26 years until the age of 48, when I left it due to the brain infarction 3 years before and to a faint dream of the next life. This visiting time was at my age of about 40, when I was a sales manager in the steel casting department and got a big order of railroad frogs from Polish National Railway. This trip was for the sales contract at their head office in Poland. On the way we stopped by here and at Vienna. My big memory.

I had planned to skip the visit here this time before the trip, but a friend of mine strongly advised me to visit, saying "If not, your wife will have a grudge forever!."

The Hall of Mirrors, the Hall of Battles, ..., the gorgeous inside of the palace made me open my eyes widely in their own way, but I did not remember the previous experience. What impression did Emiko have this time?

The vast Garden of Versailles was great. The whole view and the individual views like ponds, statues, green, buildings, people taking a rest, ..., all of them would remain in my memory.

After the above picture sites, we should have left here back. However, the bus of Mercedes Benz could not move. Engine stall!
The bus had to wait for a wagon for 30 minutes to have battery charge.
The tour company apologized for the one-hour delay in total and presented a free ticket of ramen to each tourist, which was for the last lunch at Mirai-ken restaurant.
About Chateau de Versailles

The Palace of Versailles was the principal royal residence of France from 1682, under Louis 14, until the start of the French Revolution in 1789, under Louis 16.
The Palace is now the UNESCO World Heritage Site, notable especially for the ceremonial Hall of Mirrors, the jewel-like Royal Opera, and the royal apartments, for the more intimate royal residences, the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon located within the park; the small rustic Hamlet created for Marie Antoinette, and the vast Gardens of Versailles with fountains, canals, and geometric flower beds and groves, laid out by Andre le Notre.
The Palace was stripped of all its furnishings after the French Revolution, but many places have been returned to the origin and many of the palace rooms have been restored. (English Wikipedia)
