Hawaii Island → Maui Island

8:00 Enjoyed the view of Hilo from the coast. Lava, lava...

Mr. and Mrs. Yoshida were waiting for me at Kahului Airport on Maui.
“Is it okay to speak Japanese?” “OK.” But it was a mix of English, Japanese, and Kanaka.

Arrived at the Yoshida residence (Wailuku). Had sushi rolls and Lau Lau.
Drove about 30 minutes. Lahaina. Amazing. Sasada couple joined us here, then headed to Aoki's house.

I traveled quite a bit. Was invited into people's homes.
Made friends.
