Last night I talked with Cal Yoshida. His parents live on Maui. He suggested me to stop by on my way back home.

9:00 AM: Woke up. Didn't sleep well.
At noon, watched the movie “Fuego”. Terrible.

4:30 PM: Went to Rec Hall. Registration wasn't happening. It had ended at 3 PM. I was pissed. I'll just have to wait until Monday.

Spaghetti at Myer's ($2.00).
5:00 PM Saw The Adventure. It was so good I watched it twice.

After the trip, I felt drained. Drank two beers and went to bed.

After dinner, shopping with Nick, bought late-night snacks.
Party from midnight. Wine, tamagoyaki, bacon, sausage, hot dogs. Until 2:00. With Nick, Jim, Saeed, ... Got drunk.

May 8 (Fri)

Got a call from Bill Wilson. He's in San Francisco now.
“Kenko-chan (his wife) is with me. We're going to study Chinese in Sisco for two years, then go to China, and come back to Japan in five or six years. ...We're going to Florida for fun now, wanna come?”
Why didn't you tell me a week ago? All my plans are already set!

Drove nearby with Mark and John. John mentioned he got arrested at the last anti-war demonstration.

May 12 (Tue)
My farewell party. 25 people total in the University Club basement lounge. Thank you, all of you!!
I thought, “A party without Mark?” (He couldn't make it due to circumstances), but everyone's well-wishes made me happy and grateful.
