Old Town in Zadar City |
|
|
|
We left the hotel at 7:30 am, in the town Opatia northwest of Croatia facing
the Adriatic Sea, and drove south along the seashore of 400 km for about
six hours with the rest for lunch.
The temperature in the morning was a little below 10 degrees Celcius, and
it rose as went southward, finally to 25 degrees when we arrived at Zadar.
The dike along the sea was a grand instrument, a sea organ, playing the
wave sound like a pipe organ. We took a rest for a while, and then walked
around the old town.
